eVidya initiative for Career Awareness and Guidance Workshop

The eVidya Initiative for Career Awareness and Guidance is a multi-city capacity-building programme designed to empower students and young learners with informed career decision-making skills. The initiative addresses the critical need to bridge the gap between education and employability by providing structured, evidence-based career awareness and guidance interventions.

The initiative has been designed, coordinated, and successfully implemented by the Counsellor Council of India (CCI), with support from the Moinee Foundation. This collaboration has strengthened the reach and impact of the programme, enabling delivery across diverse educational and socio-cultural contexts.

Under the eVidya initiative, Career Awareness and Guidance Workshops have been successfully conducted in Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Rudrapur. Each engagement was tailored to local educational needs while adhering to a consistent national framework for quality and outcomes.

The workshops focus on career awareness, self-exploration, aptitude understanding, subject and stream selection, and exposure to emerging and future-ready career pathways. Participants are supported in identifying their interests, strengths, and values, while gaining clarity on academic routes, vocational opportunities, and skill-based careers. The programme also addresses career-related anxiety and promotes informed, realistic decision-making.

Through interactive facilitation, expert guidance, and practical career tools, the eVidya initiative contributes to the creation of career-informed learning ecosystems. The programme strengthens students’ confidence, enhances career readiness, and supports inclusive access to guidance services—advancing long-term educational alignment and employability outcomes across regions.
